Talithacum Minstry offers churches exciting opportunities to engage leading pastors, preachers and thinkers. Our seminars bring nationally recognized leaders to our local area on Long Island, NY. In addition, Talithacum offers opportunities to deepen your ministry team’s understanding of and reflection on thier work together through our paticipatory learning program.

Dr. Tony Campolo

Dr. Tony Compolo, professor emeritus at Eastern University, is the founder of the Evangelical Association for the Promotion of Education, an organization that develops schools and social programs in various third world countries and in cities across North America. He is the author of 35 books, his latest three being, Letters to a Young Evangelical, The God of Intimacy and Action and his most recently release is Red Letter Christians, A Citizen’s Guide to Faith and Politics.

Directions to Smithtown United Methodist Church: Long Island Expressway (LIE/495) to Exit 56. North on Route 111. Cross over Veteran’s Memorial Highway (Route 454). Route 111 turns to the left by the Hauppauge High School. Continue on Route 111. Cross over Nesconset Highway (Route 347). Continue on Route 111. Make a right onto Route 25 (Main Street Middle Country Road). Church is approximately 1/4 miles on the right.
